It is not light that we need, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake.

This post was developed after my project was done and I was able to reflect on my process’. I genuinely feel like I put too much time into taking notes and staring at a blank screen. I would have the hardest time trying to write this paper in a bad mood. I felt like when I felt better, I wrote smoother. I didn’t question everything I wrote and I could believe in myself. It wasn’t a hard topic, I was provided all materials necessary, just putting things into words was complicating. We had so many things we could discuss along with freedom. I appreciated one of our main sources could be our own results. I was able to support my thesis based off of my personal experience. That the process has a positive impact on a person’s well-being. I have never participated in a study such as “3 Good Things” before. But, it helped me focus on what makes me happy in life and my strengths. I have found reflection allows me to re-evaluate situations in attempt to fix them. Although I enjoyed writing this piece, it was definitely difficult. I took never-ending pages of notes, printed out sources, elaborated on my entries, and compared with other material. One helpful thing I did was write down questions I thought about while researching for the paper. In addition, complete the mini-assignment sheets for a timeline and structure of my paper. It gave me more ideas and material to include in my paper. The writer’s block would be the major thing I struggled with but, overall I am proud of this piece. I never gave up on the project and honestly wanted to incorporate it into my life. When I look back on this process, I realize I wasn’t paying enough attention to what made me happy. I used this process as a learning experience and I hope it was positive for others as well. I am proud of my final draft and results with this study. **ENJOY!
